@giulio: to be fair this is "usual" for week-ends... during the week I opt for a shorter (6 to 7 km) route to get the workout completed, stretching (pre and post) and shower included, in about an hour.

@marco: yep very '800; the running pace is very '800: 10 km per hour is about the running pace of the first marathon (the actual length of my beard could also give strength to the hypothesis I'm from the '800). For what concerns the "vehicle", you have plenty of choice: bicycle, bike, motorbike... or "bare foot" :-D .

MapMyRun ???
Is it right for motorbike too ? :P I mean.... I've never heard the verb "to run", isn't it a very old verb that explained, in the early 800, the fast action of moving ?

I've just used MapMyRun to calculate the distance of my "usual" track and noticed that it's more or less half of what you did run today. How embarassing. :-)

I enjoyed the sunny afternoon, too, but with a slow-paced walk to <a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santuario_della_Madonna_di_San_Luca" rel="nofollow">San Luca</a> (for a total of 4.43 Km, according to MapMyRun).
